Minnesota Twins short-stop and hip hop artist Nick Gordon, aka G Cinco recently released this new visual for his single "My Life" off EP I do it all, check it out listen to more of his music via Spotify.
Minnesota Twins Short Stop/Hip-Hop Artist Nick Gordon a/k/a G-CINCO born in Avon Park, Florida living in Orlando, Florida his whole life. The song was inspired by things that have recently taken place in my life. I'm trying to defeat the odds a lot comes with that. A lot of people don't see your vision they don't believe. So they try living thru you. Telling you how much you can't do something but in reality I can. I was pushed toward this record and really just felt the beat everything came out so smooth because its all real. People think it's easy to get distracted doing more than one thing but Ima live my life. I don't think I can do any wrong in either thing I do when they both make me happy I'm passionate about the life I live. Which is why this song means a lot to me. I hope you all enjoy this musical experience and and all it has to offer.

During a time when everyone is a rapper, and every rapper packs their verses with lies about a lifestyle they never lived, in hopes to capture your attention and love, we are fortunate to have that rare artist breakthrough and make us think twice about what music rides with us in the morning to work or joins us at the gym in the evening. When every other rapper is telling stories of riches and glamour, Ali is regular guy working in the trenches, and when every other rapper sounds the same, Ali is drawing envy from the artist he is opening for! When you leave your favorite rappers concert, and you can’t help but think about the guy that opened up the show, that’s Ali Cashius Jr.
Ali began garnering respect as a rapper on the desolate Southwest Side of Detroit. He would battle any rapper at his High School and then sneak into night clubs around the city to battle grown men at the age of 16. Because of his mixed race, he had to learn to clap back quickly at kids who would target his ethnicity. With a father from the war torn country of Yemen, and a mother from Puerto Rico, Ali was constantly questioned about his nationality. Battle rap became less important daily, as Ali grew more frustrated watching his mother struggle with two jobs. With an absent father figure and a mother who was forced to bare the role of provider, Ali was left to come and go as he pleased, roaming the gang and drug infested streets on Detroit’s Southwest side. Losing friends to gang wars and drug deals gone wrong, Ali quickly learned that the place he loved could also be his downfall.
From that moment, he realized he had to use his gift to tell his story and be a voice for the friends he lost. Financial troubles continued to follow Ali and his mother, so he decided to take matters into his own hands, and the traveling began. He moved from Detroit to Atlanta, Baltimore, and eventually Phoenix. With growth comes sacrifice, and moving led Ali to miss the funeral of one of his best friends in Detroit. A three-day Greyhound trip, and Ali arrived back in the city one hour after his friend’s funeral ended. Devastated by loss and frustration, Ali vowed to not return home until he could make his family proud and prove all the people who doubted him wrong.
Since moving out West, Ali Cashius Jr. now has followers around the world who support the movement and new wave.

Strictly Kong ENT. Presents Monsta Kodi "Too Live For TV" (Official Music Video) https://youtu.be/3Cl04PRhenI
Strictly Kong ENT. Presents Monsta Kodi "Too Live For TV" off the Who Is Monsta Kodi (Hosted by DJ Dr.doom) mixtape. Northeast Bronx native Monsta Kodi takes the listeners back to his roots on Too Live For TV. Monsta Kodi is a true LIVE emcee. No autotune. No gimmicks. Just hard beats and lyrics. While listening to the song one could imagine Monsta Kodi spitting LIVE .. his energy bleeds through your speakers as if he was right in front of you. Too Live For TV is a tribute to that hardcore rap that many New Yorkers have seemingly strayed from as newer artists are influenced more by Future and other Southern artists getting radio airplay. This song is undeniably hip-hop, undeniably East Coast and Strictly Kong !! Too Live For TV is a tribute to the Ruff Ryders sound. A salute to Banned From TV by N.O.R.E., produced by Swizz Beats featuring Big Pun, Cam’ron, Jadakiss, Nature and Styles P, this song is taken to the next level with ill keyboard sequences and production from Strictly Kong to accompany the crisp snares and big horns. Monsta Kodi does what he does best - load up and lyrically blasts his way through the track. You can feel the grit in his bars and his rhymes are panoramic in HD - He’s Too Live !!
Whether rain or snow sleet or jail I will prevail shock the world clocking presales Holding weight and your fate in the palm of my hands Blow you away plant a bomb in your van
- Monsta Kodi “Too Live For TV”
Now, these aren’t your basic rhymes from a basic rapper - Monsta Kodi’s legend is growing but you won’t find him on one of these “reality” shows - he’s Too Live For TV !! Say no more.

Recently signed international music beat maker to Cool & Dre - icekream - and Epidemic’s very own Eric Leon drop their first collaborative joint together: ‘No Questions’. This definitely seems like a family affair. The Dubai & Miami based artists are looking to announce themselves on the trap scene with this strong, infectiously delivered, opera-style banger. Eric jokingly refers to his counterpart & fellow song producer icekream (“Gucci on me fur coat cuz I’m with ice…testing out my whole life they be like damn he nice”), signaling to their audience the blatant comedic & fun approach that ensued whilst making the song. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
